Smoker-Sheaffer Insurance is a partnership with a full service agency representing over 40 insurance companies and insuring more than 2,400 families and 1,000 businesses in the Lancaster County region. We are looking for a P&C licensed sales representative to expand our client base. This is a sales role and we also have other non-insurance sales opportunities for motivated and talented sales professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Call potential clients to grow your customer base
• Interview prospective clients to to gain information about financial resources and discuss existing coverage
• Explain the features of policies
• Analyze client's current insurance policies and suggest additions or changes
• Handle policy renewals
• Build referrals by maintaining excellent client relations

Qualifications:

• Licensed in PA for P&C insurance (or ability to rapidly become licensed)
• Insurance and/or other sales experience
• Motivated and confident sales approach
• Initiative to actively seek out new clients
• Professional demeanor and communication
